  Almost two and a half years ago I lost my heart, a 14 year old Chocolate Labrador named Dusty, "Dusty Trails under the Big Sky" was his full name. I had lost four children several years before I found that little pup that came running over to me. He was the first living creature that I allowed myself to love after losing my children so he was pretty special. If I could have kept him around forever I would have but I couldn't. I can not give Pet Cremation Services enough praise for the way that they handled Dusty and the care that they showed toward me during one of the hardest times of my life. I wanted one last ride with my big guy so they let me drive up from Panama City to pick his ashes up. When I got there I found him in a beautiful urn, so beautiful that I even returned the one that I had bought for him. They also put a package of rosemary next to the urn. To this day I walk by and smell the rosemary and it reminds me of him. As wonderful as all of that was the most memorable thing that they gave me was the paw print that they made. I wasn't even expecting it and at the time I cried my eyes out, still do sometimes when I see it. They had no idea what that paw print would come to mean. I have since started a non profit organization that rescues and provides a forever home for senior Labrador Retrievers. We are a 501c3 and our name is "Dusty Trails". Our logo logo is "You are my heart, I am your voice" with the picture of a paw print with the middle pad shaped like a heart. We used Dusty's paw print for our logo. Thanks to Pet Cremation Services a small part of Dusty will live forever. Thanks guys, you are wonderful.
